GATEWAY BEAUTIFICATION PHOTOS

The Greater Hazleton Gateway Beautification Pilot Project consisted of a planting of trees, flowers, and shrubs along both roadsides of State Route 924 as well as in the median strip.

A "Welcome to Greater Hazleton" sign has been placed in the traffic island.

The Beautification Project helped further the potential reclamation of strip mining lands that lie past the project area. Beautifying one of the premier gateways to the Greater Hazleton Area improves the image of Greater Hazleton, both for those who live here now and those who are considering making it their home.
